Around the world, women continue to struggle with income disparity and property rights as an antiquated bias toward male workers remains. Last year, The Economist studied the working environments for women in every country and compiled the data in a 150-page report entitled The Women's Economic Opportunity Index. Rather than in a boring PowerPoint presentation, the work was presented at the World in 2011 Festival in the form of a very eye-catching animation designed by the creative agency JESS3.

In six and a half minutes, the presentation lays out the global obstacles preventing women from achieving an equal standing with men in the workplace.
