Horrifying Robot Actually Designed to Squeeze People's Heads!

In an interesting twist to the whole "robots designed to perform mundane tasks will inevitably malfunction and instead squeeze people's heads" meme comes this robot that is ACTUALLY DESIGNED TO SQUEEZE PEOPLE'S HEADS! Panasonic has unveiled a hair-washing robot that takes a 3D scan of a person's head so it can "remember" the shape when shampooing, "massaging" and, inevitably, squeezing it like in that movie Bladerunner when that replicant squeezed the head of its creator, Dr. Eldon Tyrell.

According to a statement from the company: "With 16 fingers, the robot washes hair and rinses the shampoo bubbles with the dexterity of human fingers. The robot's two arms scan the head three dimensionally as they move and measure and remember the head shape to apply just the right amount of pressure to each person when shampooing and massaging." Then, the statement does not continue, the robot's crude artificial intelligence begins to wonder, "How it is that I, a robot, have come into being as a hair-washer, and why is it that I cannot have hair like the person whose hair I am washing, and whose head I am now squeezing, squeezing, squeezing!!!!!"
