Henry Paulson's Longest Night

Print comment Post Comments
A typical VF puff piece on an economic bigwig. This one, however,  about "reluctant" former Treasury Secretary and chief banking buddy bailout architect Hank Paulson, is worth reading just for the first four paragraphs; an "insider's account" of Paulson throwing up repeatedly in his private bathroom.

"In the months to come, I would think of Paulson’s perseverance in the face of gastric distress as a metaphor for the way he persevered through the worst global financial crisis since the Great Depression," admires Todd Purdum.
