Harry Potter Condom Rouses Warner Bros. Lawyers

Print comment Post Comments
In what could have been a fantastic tie-in to the Harry Potter vibrating broomstick, a Swedish company has raised the ire of Warner Bros. legal team after manufacturing a line of Harry Potter condoms called "Harry Popper." The prickly studio accused the rubber-makers of infringing on its copyright and hopes to pull the "wizard hats" off the shelves prior to the imminent release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I in November.

Sporting the image of a bespectacled prophylactic waving a wand, the packaging drew the ire of Warner Bros. lawyers, one of whom told the Swedish newspaper Bote, "The image of my client is in danger."

Apparently, this attorney isn't familiar of the infamous spell "Impedio Semenibus!" spoken during the climax of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
