Flying Humvee One Step Closer to Completion

Print comment Post Comments
The Pentagon is one step closer to creating a flying Humvee.

The AAI Corporation is in charge of the overall build, and yesterday, Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne was awarded $1 million to design the engine, which will allow the latest example of American military bad-assery to fly 250 nautical miles without refueling.

The beast of a machine will be operational by 2015. Lockheed Martin will also be working on the project.
