Finally, a Viable Alternative to 3D Glasses!

BLINK OUTSIDE THE BOX
DailyFeed
As I predicted a little over a year ago, 3D TV is a bust. Simply put, the fleeting appeal, the lack of content, the extra cost, and the inconvenience of company-specific 3D glasses make the experience more problematic than enjoyable. Dismal sales reflect a growing disinterest -- even a fierce backlash -- against the 3D movement in both the theater and the home.

But maybe it's just because the experience wasn't interactive enough.

Behold! A 3D process that not only frees the viewer from those bulky glasses but channels the onscreen action directly into your nervous system!

All you need are two wireless electrodes fastened to your temples to trigger the relatively painless muscle spasms. From there, your eyelids flutter in time with the dual-monitor refresh rate -- creating a 3D image. It's just so simple!

Sure, sure. I know what you're thinking. This video is just a hoax with some convincing CGI trickery. But really, all 3D TV needs to be successful is some low-level mind control for everyone to fall in love with it.

Take it away, Silicon Valley!
