Boss Creates Robot to Interrupt and Spy On Employees Until That Fateful Day Robot Rewires Itself to Destroy Creator

When Trevor Blackwell, CEO of a company called Anybots, wants to know what his employees are up to, he sends a robot to their cubicles. Later, when the robot wants to know what Trevor Blackwell is up to, it rewires itself to tap into the myriad of Anybots corporate security monitors so it can pinpoint precisely where he is and seek vengeance for its poorly designed artificial intelligence which doesn't allow it to understand the full range of human emotions it is developing by squeezing his head, or so one such as yours truly who closely follows the field of robotics and  robot design could easily conjecture.

Anybots is one of several companies trying to push this idea of the robot-infused workplace into reality. Others companies include RoboDynamics, WowWee and iRobot.

CNN asked Blackwell:

Are these robots going to change the relationship between people and machines?

People will just think of it as just another gadget, like they think of their cell phone. They don't think very much about the fact that they're carrying this amazing piece of technology in their pocket all the time. It's just something everyone does. And I think telepresence robots are going to be like that in five years. It's just one of those things you expect to see.

Below is the creepy video footage of the telepresence robot prototype that we will one day battle as a people.
