Apple's Steve Jobs vs. Ikea's Ingvar Kamprad

The Fixr infographic below, comparing Apple's Steve Jobs to Ikea's Ingvar Kamprad, has been making the rounds of the Web of late. It essentially links two interesting stories via a timeline. Okay, that's very nice, but why bother? What does one have to do with the other, we ask.

True, much of the comparison makes Jobs look like a tool, but that would probably be true of any CEO measured against the Swedish icon. Kamprad drives an old Volvo and flies economy class. Oh, he also runs what is "technically" the world's largest charitable foundation, while Apple does not give to philanthropic causes.

Still, are we missing something?
