Angry Birds, Disney Reenact Arab Revolts

If only the real situations were this lighthearted.

Taking a cue from Bugs Bunny knocking Hitler and Tojo in the head with a mallet, YouTube user created a short animated piece based on the recent revolts in the Arab world. Using melodies from Walt Disney's The Three Little Pigs and characters from Angry Birds, Zhgun re-enacted the Twitter-centric uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya. With the public as the birds, the pigs are -- naturally -- represented by Tunisian ex-president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, Egyptian ex-president Muhammad Hosni Sayyid Mubarak, and Libyan leader Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi.

While the swine comparisons are admittedly kind, the short does evoke a sense of pride that, sometimes, the power is indeed with the people.
