Stephen Colbert Interviews AOL Co-Founder Steve Case

In case you missed it, last night on the Colbert Report, Stephen interviewed AOL (AOL) co-founder Steve Case, who talked about the sharing economy. Colbert opened the interview by asking Case to apologize for all the work hours lost to the Internet, AKA the “greatest time waster of all time.”

Beyond Case’s time at AOL, the two talked about Zipcar (ZIP) and Living Social, as Case tried to break down Colbert’s fear of sharing. At the end, Stephen proposed his own business, “Toasterster,” which allows people to share their toasters and, despite being the worst idea of all time, gave him an excuse to ask for startup money.
