"I commute to work, so I can do my job, so I can earn a paycheck ... so I can afford my morning commute."

With the high price of gas, more cars on the road causing traffic, and the sheer inability to afford city dwellings, commuting to and from work can be a costly headache. Without the option to bike, use public transportation, or telecommute, employees are forced to pay a massive annual fee for just getting to their jobs.

In an attractive, yet disconcerting infographic, Streamline Refinance broke down this necessary-for-some expenditure and reminded us that even when we work hard, we're penalized for it.
