What's New in the 'Ville
As winter descends upon us, we wanted to tell you "what's new" in the 'Ville.
There are a number of new additions to our site that we want to bring to your attention. It's a worthwhile exercise because these features and functions will add value to your investment strategies and are a must for any Minyan.
FIRST: On the home page we have added a new function aptly named "Ticker Talk." It's just that -- a FREE real-time discussion within the community on and about NYSE- and NASDAQ-listed companies.
- Easily upload charts via image files or direct URLs (no need for twit pic, or posting lengthy URLs).
-Charts display in an easy-to-read light box - no more opening a new window.
- Conversations are sorted by ticker and popularity.
- Create and follow a watch list of favorite stocks.
-Follow specific individuals and your friends.
-Place a $ sign in front of the stock ticker and it will automatically link that company's stock page.
- Ability to embed the application on other sites.
Simply type in a symbol and start reading or writing about the companies YOU follow. We expect the best of our community here so you must register with a valid email and name in order to post. While we're a community built on trust and truth, we had to add a feature that allows us to suspend and remove any posts or posters. Please be respectful when you come to our house and we hope you enjoy. Join the discussion now.
As mentioned above, you can grab the code at the bottom of ticker talk and embed it as a widget in your own website. The discussions going on Minyanville will be viewed on your site simultaneously.
SECOND: We're quickly becoming the go-to destination for what's happening now in the world of finance and business and what it means to your money and your life. We have added four new shows to our roster.
Is a light hearted look at companies in the news each day (we're trying to make this each day.) Jeff is back on the air waves bringing you his take on the markets -- unmuzzled, unedited, and unadulterated!

FINALLY, be sure to check out Festivus
This is our annual fundraiser for the Ruby Peck Foundation for Children's Education held in NYC at Hill Country BBQ. It's a gathering of Minyanville's human capital with more than 350 people in attendance and more than 80% of the MV professors.
Click Here to register or give Jill Jacinto a call at 212.991.6200 x31 if you're interested in sponsoring.
