Scott Reeves
Scott Reeves is a senior columnist for Minyanville with special emphasis on personal finance. Previously, he was personal finance editor for Forbes.com. He's also written for Barron's and the Dow Jones News Wires. He ran the IPO desk at the late, lamented Bridge News. At Forbes, Reeves wrote about kids and money, marriage and money, as well as savings, retirement, taxes, budgeting, and the wise use of credit -- all the things that help readers keep their finances in order. Before covering Wall Street and personal finance, Reeves, an ink-stained wretch at heart, worked at newspapers in California, Idaho, and Alaska, where he spent two weeks in the bush covering the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. He covered courts with an occasional trip to the state Capitol during his California days. Reeves holds a bachelor's degree in English from the University of California at Berkeley.
