Shawn Terry is co-founder and Managing Director of MHT Partners, a Dallas middle market investment bank, where he focuses on the  business services, education and high-growth consumer sectors. Prior to founding MHT Partners, he served as a Managing Director of the Crossroads Group, a $2.0 billion private equity investment group headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Prior to joining the Crossroads Group, Shawn was with McKinsey & Company, serving as an Engagement Manager in their Dallas office. He began his career in the New York office of Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an investment banking analyst.

Shawn has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Finance and a BA in Political Science. He is active in community and government affairs and served as the Republican nominee for United States Congress from Texas 24th Congressional District in 1998. He serves on the board of the Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, an organization that promotes and facilitates community involvement and philanthropy for companies. He is also an active member of the Dallas chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

Shawn lives in Dallas with his son and daughter.
