Peter Prudden is the General Partner of SISU Advisors LP and the Managing Member of Prudden & Company LLC. Peter is a graduate from the University of Minnesota. He was a four year starter and letter winner on the Golden Gopher football team. Peter was selected Academic All Big-Ten three seasons and a University Scholar Athlete each of his four years. He began his investment career as a private wealth manager at the North American headquarters for RBC Wealth Management. From there he worked on Wall Street with investment bank Jefferies and Company. While at Jefferies, Peter worked as an equity trader and directly with the head of equity trading by supporting the equity divisions risk management exposure, secondary offerings, bought deals, IPO pricings and corporate buy backs. He was a primary trader for consumer, retail and gaming securities by acting as a market maker for more than 200 listed companies and delivered best execution for clients via block pricing and risk trading, as well as agency executions using a suite of 20+ algorithmic trading tools. He produced written content daily reflecting sector news and highlighting investable themes based on macroeconomic trends, fundamental research, market sentiment, management presentations and corporate announcements; distributed to more than 1,000 institutional clients. Generated proprietary investment ideas by integrating market and industry cycles, comp valuations, technical indicators, and catalytic events with fundamental analysis from equity research teams. Later he moved from Jefferies global headquarters in New York to San Francisco to become Head of Equity Trading for Maverick Capital Partners, a long/short large cap equity momentum hedge fund. Peter ran the trading desk and execution, while providing the portfolio manager with risk management measures and position strategy. After Maverick Capital Partners, Peter relocated back to Minneapolis to spend time outside of the financial markets and was elected co-president of the board of directors for The LEAD Project, a 501c3 non-profit. Peter acted as the co- executive director and oversaw strategic planning.
