Next week, most market participants will be focused on the non-farm payrolls number. The number will be released on Friday and analysts are looking for it to come in at -188k compared to last month’s -216k, which is improving but still not positive.
Analysts also expect the unemployment rate to hit 9.8%, inching closer to the psychologically important 10% number.
