Trading Radar: Selling the Earnings News

By

Stay one step ahead of the rest.

PrintPRINT
A trend has emerged: most strong earnings reports are being met with selling pressure. Next week investors will be looking for more of the same when Exxon Mobil (XOM), UPS (UPS), Visa (V), Cisco (CSCO), and Kellog (K) report earnings.

That said the most important data point will be nonfarm payrolls which will be released on Friday. Consensus calls for 50k with the unemployment rate coming in at 10%.
