Trading Radar: Central Banks Take Center Stage

By Matt Theal Apr 01, 2011 4:30 pm

Economics, earnings reports, and market events for the week ahead.

The second quarter is now underway and with it comes earnings season. Next week will be very light on data before earnings reports start hitting the tape a week from Monday.

For central bank watchers, the FOMC will release the minutes of its last meeting while the Reserve Bank of Australia, the Bank of England, and the ECB will make announcements next week. There are also quite a few Fed officials speaking next week so watch for any mention of QE 3 or the unwinding of QE2.
