By

The Federal Reserve is likely to pull the trigger on a new round of monetary stimulus, but its impact remains in question.

Todd was featured on Bloomberg TV last week discussing the tug of war between bulls and bears in this confusing market.

The market FEELS great lately, he says, and there are two drivers behind that. These are the next round of stimulus, or quantitative easing, and also corporate credit, which Todd notes continues to trade great.

The other side to stimulus is that, as in the past, the savers -- or those who did the right things and put money away -- were the ones most punished. In order for this round to work, Todd says thee Fed will have to do something particularly unique, and it's not likely that the proposed $500 billion package will be enough.

Is the Fed ultimately masking the symptoms of this Depression rather than curing the disease?
