The following stocks trading above $5 and with market caps above $25 million are among the top-10 most popular searches on Google Finance Trends this morning. Minyanville looks at why.

Chattem Inc. (CHTT)

Drugmaker Sanofi-Aventis (SNY) announced this morning it has agreed to the buy consumer health-care company Chattem Inc. for $1.9 billion in cash. According to the Wall Street Journal, the deal will create the world's fifth-largest consumer health-care company.

Terex Corp. (TEX)

Terex Corp., an infrastructure company, this morning said it will sell its mining business to the minerals miner Bucyrus Int'l. (BUCY) for $1.3 billion in cash. According to International Mining, the transaction will create a very comprehensive supplier of mining equipment. The Terex mining equipment business produces the world's largest hydraulic excavators, rugged haul trucks, advanced drilling machines, and highwall mining systems. It has 38 facilities around the world with approximately 2,150 employees.

ConAgra Food Inc. (CAG)

ConAgra worked its way into the Google Trends search column on the back of a quarterly profit report that exceeded expectations and an increase in its full-year outlook. The company said it now sees full-year earnings approaching $1.73 a share, excluding one-time items. In September, it had forecast about $1.70. Ahead of the bell, shares of ConAgra are trading about 3% higher.

Jabil Circuit
(JBL)

Jabil is also on the list thanks to earnings today that are expected to exceed analysts estimates. The Street is looking for a profit of $0.29 a share. The call is scheduled for 4 p.m. EST today.
