Airlines don't get honored much these days, what with their rapidly declining customer service and pesky surcharges that often erode what at first glance looked like a "good deal." That's why we were so pleased to learn of the Freddie Awards, which heap praise on the industry's best loyalty programs.

The ceremony will take place on April 23 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (okay, so it's not exactly the Oscars). Before you redeem another mile, take a look at 7 carriers that should be in the running.
