Solar shares are rallying as Akeena Solar (AKNS), Evergreen Solar (ESLR) and LDK Solar (LDK) are all moving into the green. Tenet Healthcare Corp. (THC) is also on the move after Deutsche Bank (DB) reaffirmed its buy rating.
Apollo Group Inc. (APOL) shares are plummeting after the company severely missed earnings estimates, losing $32 million in the second quarter. J.C. Penney Co. (JCP) is also struggling after cutting its earnings estimates for the first quarter.
