Chemtura Corp. (CEM) shares are moving higher after hiring Merrill Lynch (MER) to assist its board in examining strategic business alternatives. AAR Corp. (AIR) is also rallying after 2Q earnings rose 30%.
Darden (DRI) shares fell sharply as the Orlando, Florida based restaurant operator reported a $43.5 mln decline in net income. Carmax (KMX) is also under pressure after reporting a 7 cent EPS decline in Q3.
