BEA Systems (BEAS) is moving into the green after a $19.37 per share buyout announcement from Oracle (ORCL). Sun Microsystems (JAVA) is also to the upside this morning after announcing that it will purchase software maker MySQL for $1 bln.

Intel (INTC) is under pressure after the semiconductor missed earning expectations. California Pizza Kitchen (CPKI) is also in the red after a poor earnings report.
