Bernanke's Bracket Breakdown: Stockton, California

Checking out the Sunrise Seaport regional.

The seedings are set, the terms are in place. The question is, Who advances and who goes home early? Minyanville continues taking a closer look at the pairings in each of the four regions.

Minyanville Meta Madness Although INFLATION coming out of the Las Vegas regional may be the tournament's overall number one seed, the Stockton Regional top seed, DEFLATION, is the team everyone fears most. DEFLATION'S devastating defense and aggressive physical play overwhelmed opponents in the first two rounds and completely swamped DEBT in round three.

Make no mistake: Cinderella came to play in Stockton, as 15 seed Real Estate upset GDP in the first round, made short order of 10 seed NEGATIVE EQUITY in the second and dismantled FREDDIE MAC to advance to the regional final.

DEFLATION proved too much, however, leaving REAL ESTATE dreaming of upsets and the glory that might have been.

Check back tomorrow for the Cleveland, Ohio regional and click here for the Las Vegas, Nevada regional and here for Detroit.
