DepewTube: Like Shooting Tech In a Barrel

Markets, movers and more.

With Fannie Mae (FNM) and Freddie Mac (FRE) each down more than 15 percent today, Minyanville's Executive Editor, Kevin Depew, takes a look at the (very real) possiblity these companies may return from whence they game: Back under the umbrella of the federal government.

Kevin's throwing darts at the technology corner of his screen and coming up green no matter what ticker he hits. From Apple (AAPL) to IBM (IBM), a lot of tech stocks are outperforming today.

Two technical indicators to keep an eye on: the NYSE and Nasdaq High-Low Indexes. These are now down at levels last seen in March, just before a rally keyed by, yes, tech stocks. They haven't reversed yet, but could very soon.
