Minyanville Welcomes Jonathan Schwartz to the 'Ville
Minyanville Publishing & Multimedia is pleased to welcome the addition of Jonathan Schwartz to its talented staff. Jonathan will serve as Senior Editor, acting as a bridge between the editorial team and the marketing / product development team to create tighter synergies between brand and business strategies and content development.
Before joining Minyanville, Jonathan spent nearly two years at Forbes.com as an Assistant News Editor and Markets Reporter. He wrote the "Week Ahead In Markets" column and hosted a video network show of the same title. He also spent two years as a Strategy Analyst for Deloitte & Touche and one year as Senior Editor of Parallax Online.
Jonathan's responsibilities include...
Marketing / Product Development
• Redesign of Minyanville.com and publishing tools
• Managing site traffic and advertising models
• Analyzing content performance and defining content strategies
• New product development
• Managing the publishing/positioning of articles and line editing of content for the Buzz and Banter and News and Views
• Helping to develop new articles and content ideas
• Working with the Editorial team to shape the editorial process and organize content flow
In his spare time Jonathan enjoys baseball and photography and is a mentor for the NYC chapter of Minds Matter, which helps gifted, underprivileged teens gain entry into college and prep school programs. He holds a degree in Management from Boston University.
