MIM3: Thanks for the Rocky Mountain High!

Indeed, there was a lot of love in the Mountains.

Once again, it was a spiritual journey as well as a financial one.

To Todd Harrison … as I have said before, you perpetually embody the spirit in which you founded Minyanville. Hoofy, Boo and all the gang come from within you, and once again you give with endless passion. For that I thank you. For that, we all thank you.

To Vanessa Ohayon and Leah Burke … outstanding, case closed.

To Kevin Wassong … FORE !!!

To Kevin Depew … some guys just happen to walk into the spotlight, and other guys deserve to be in the spotlight. You deserve it.

To Michael Santoli … hey, isn't that your daughter chasing that horse?

To Steve Shobin … as always, one of the BEST, hands down!

To Jeffery Saut … that was the best five hours I ever an airport!

To Laurie McGuirk … get your game face 'on' brother!

To The Lovely Lisa … YOU are the true 'treasure' Laurie brings with him every year, NOT the bars of gold and silver.

To Sean Mueller … WOW, another 335 yard drive … c'mon, swing harder will ya?

To Bennet Sedacca … it is scary how much we think alike. Tell Arnold Palmer that I'm coming to Florida this winter for sure.

To Stephanie Pomboy … even scarier, how much WE think alike. Did I just say that, or was that you speaking? (And guys, don't let those 'looks' fool you, she's as over-the-top intense as I am!)

To Fil Zucchi … I barely knew ye, but I could feel the vibe.

To Farley … I so hate the Devils, and the Flyers, and the Islanders, but especially the Devils.

To Scott Reamer … I wish I could elucidate 'our' opinion as well as you.

To John Succo … Please come up to the front of the class and write on the blackboard, one thousand times: "I will not shoot spit-balls at the 'professor' from the back row of the classroom!"

To Mrs. Bennet Sedacca … I told you, I am a true carnivore.

To Mrs. Kevin Wassong … Great job, your kids are awesome!

To Tony Dwyer … Come on Tony, the "Dark Side" is calling!

To Doctor Jon … nice boots man, well, they WERE nice …

To Greg Collins … did they stamp your hand, so you could get back in?

To Vitaliy Katsenelson … what, we have the same book publisher. You know, what's her name?

To Woody Dorsey … (on the tee of the par-3) come on Woody, use the pitching wedge and hit Wassong right in the freaking head with the ball.

To Bill Fleckenstein … what happened, you couldn't fit your hairdryer in the luggage?

To Todd Harrison and Michael Santoli … Trading is just like playing poker, you really do need to know when to hold-em, and when to fold-em. Patience is the name of the game. Often, repeatedly 'folding' is your strongest move, and is NOT a sign of 'weakness.' Dumping a losing trade quickly, is often the strongest move. More importantly, I try to 'trade' only when I hold a premium starting hand, like Aces, Kings, Queens, or Big Slick. Avoid marginal trades, when holding low probability 'hands' such as 7-2 offsuit. In other words, wait until the macro-fundamentals AND the technical-intermarket analysis is aligned before you raise the pot and assume the risk to your chip stack.

To all the Minyans that attended 'our' Macro-Precious Metals Breakout Session … I thank YOU for the passion that YOU brought into the room. And yes, a copy of 'my' presentation, all thirty-one eye-opening slides, is on the way.

From The Grateful Dead …

-- Comes a time when a blind man takes your hand and asks, don't you see??

-- Gotta make it somehow, on the dreams that you still believe.

-- Don't give it up, you've got an empty cup… that only love can fill.

Indeed, there was a lot of love in the Mountains.

Toddo, your cup over-floweth my man!

Passion and tenacity are words to live by.

We do it for the love of the game!
