Buzz & Banter
Todd's observation that stocks are getting creamed this afternoon at about the same time that the bond pits closed brings up a possibly interesting observation.
Wouldn't it be just like the Market, in spreading out as much pain as possible, to suck bond money into stocks at this juncture? After all, bonds have gotten absolutely hammered over the last 2 months, so as the "late" money is being pulled out of fixed income, they may be putting it directly into stocks at a time when the risk of being long stocks is as high as it has been - choose your statistic - at anytime since the top of this market in 2000.
Human behavior, with all its many folds, has but one common denominator: the limbic system.
