Look! Look at the paint! It's...drying!
For the past nine hours or so I've been painstakingly searching for something interesting going on in my technical world. Here it is: the dollar is up a bit today while gold and silver both enjoyed nice gains. That's...oh, sorry, I dozed off in the middle of typing that sentence. That's only mildly interesting I admit, the relationship between gold/silver and the dollar, though different from what we've seen lately, did not occur within the context of any serious reversals or technical changes.
Otherwise, there were no important technical changes today among the key tells I've been following. The S&P 500 Bullish Percent chart is a hair away from reversing down, but doubtful today's activity will be enough to cause it.
Away from the ticks, I also wanted to report that I'll be out on Wednesday through Monday as I make my annual trek to Saratoga Springs.
