Below, please read the official press release:

Minyanville Publishing & Multimedia (www.minyanville.com), a leading company in building branded financial educational and entertainment properties, today announced that Charles Mangano has joined as the company's Chief Marketing Officer. Mangano has more than 25 years experience marketing financial services, and is best known for his work helping to establish Merrill Lynch as a leading global brand. As part of his responsibilities at Minyanville, he will be charged with managing all the company's marketing and subscription programs developing what the company hopes will become the icons of financial literacy, Hoofy the Bull and Boo the Bear.

"Charlie is a brilliant marketing and creative mind who has a proven track record establishing recognizable financial brands," stated Minyanville founder and CEO, Todd Harrison. "We know we are in good hands."

Mangano was most recently the Managing Director and Global Head of Marketing and Communications for Deutsche Asset Management. In his position, he reported directly to the CEO and had worldwide responsibility for all marketing functions, media relations, employee and investor communications for the world's fourth largest asset manager. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mangano held the position of Worldwide Senior Director of Brand Management at Merrill Lynch & Co. He was responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating the company's overall brand strategy. Under his direction, the brand was ranked as high as the 19th most recognized and valued brand in BusinessWeek's annual brand survey. At Merrill Lynch, he also helped to develop and launch the company's Internet and Intranet sites. He is a graduate of Marquette University's School of Journalism.

"Having helped build one Bull into a global icon, I look forward to the challenge of helping Todd and Kevin build another one," said Charles Mangano. "This time, I hope to bring a bear with him."

Mangano first developed a relationship with Minyanville President, Kevin Wassong, who ran J. Walter Connect (J. Walter Thompson's Online Division) when Mangano was at Merrill Lynch.

"I've known Charlie is a marketing genius for years and I'm glad we were able to get him on board," stated Kevin Wassong, President of Minyanville. "His understanding of the need for content for financial literacy is only rivaled by his creative abilities. We look forward to having him on the team."

Outside of work, Mangano is also an avid surfer and guitar player. His band, The Rolling Bones, is a favorite in clubs around the country, and was the subject of a piece in the Wall Street Journal last fall.

Area Minyans are welcome to come and celebrate with the crew tonight, Thursday April 5 as Charlie and The Rolling Bones rock out at the Red Lion!
