## THANKS FOR ALL THE POSITIVE COMMENTS!!!

PRINT

False Alarm! I'm not putting out another Quant Screen today. Rather, I'm responding to the overwhelming amount of positive responses I've received from the very 1st "Hoofy & Boo's Biggest Movers!!!"

After reviewing all the e-mails received, I thought I'd answer all your questions in one commentary instead of trying to respond to every one individually - I'd be here till Monday.

Question #...

1 - No, I don't think I'll put it out twice a day, but thanks for the enthusiasm.

2 - The Volume Rate Calculation is an intra-day rate, which is broken down into time segments. For example ... if the ADV on a stock is 1,000,000 shares a day and it's traded 1,500,000 shares after 3.25 hours of trading (1/2 day), the rate would be 300%.

The Rate is calculated as follows:
3.25 hours = 50% of the total trading day
50% of the average daily volume (1,000,000) = 500,000
D% Between actual volume of 1,500,000 and 500,000 = 300%
Rate = 300%

3 - About providing trading and breakout ideas - I'll put it this way, "The Professors can fish for you and feed you for a day; or they can teach you how to fish and feed you for the rest of your life."

5 - I used to use Point & Figure quite a bit, still do to some extent, but with the lack of volume present, I personally feel other methods are better for what I do.

6 - The term "engulfing" refers to a day in which the high is higher and the low is lower than the day prior. (Not sure what an outside day is)

7 - No, I'm not the guy "Captain Tuttle" from an episode of MASH nor "Mr. Tuttle" from the movie "Brazil"

Last, but certainly not least, I would also like to say how much I appreciate all of the positive comments I've received from 'The Minyans' welcoming me aboard and giving me kudos for "The Morning Cup of Jo"

If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be here.

Thanks A Million
