KAT's comin' to "The 'Ville"
Welcome to town...
Good Mornin' Minyans.
First I would like to thank Todd and all the other professors for asking me to move into Minyanville. As I told Todd, "I'm humbled to have this opportunity to write alongside some of the greatest minds on Wall Street."
When this opportunity arose a few months ago, I packed my bags, sold my house, got a U-Haul and headed straight for "The Ville." Hoofy got me a mortgage from First Bank, Snapper immediately started building my house, Daisy welcomed my son Dellin to his new school, Sammy helped me reopen my business in town, and the infamous "Boo," said, "Welcome to Minyanville. If you need any help understanding the risks involved with your new position, just give me a call. I can certainly help." Thanks Boo, I think.
I've been in the industry for over 12-years and have been readin' the lines for nine.
As a techy (market technician) I'm going to make a considerable effort to bring, with the "round-table" of other professors, a technical understanding of "Supply and Demand" in the markets.
I believe by obtaining the capability to interpret the lines, you can enhance your ability to understand investors' (whether it's the Gorillas or individuals) psychology on paper. Once you, as an investor, can get on the same side of the trade (long or short) as the majority, it becomes much easier to gain profit - and in reality, that's what it's all about, Right?!
I'll be bringing my interpretation of the lines through "The Morning Cup of Jo" - a newsletter I've been writing for a couple of years.
Some of the topics covered will be multiple types of chart patterns, divergence, breakouts, breakdowns, volume indicators, the ever misunderstood stochastic, MACD (Moving Average Convergence/Divergence), contrarian indicators and any other technical topics you, "The Minyans," would like to discuss.
One important aspect of my writing is input! Whether you're in agreement, disagreement or simply just don't understanding a point I've covered. Nevertheless, iIf you don't understand what's written about, I won't be providing a benefit and this is why you're a Minyan (A Benefit). By the way, disagreement is precisely what makes up Supply and Demand and I love to hear people disagree with what I have to say. Like they say, "Opinions are like ________. Everyone has one and it's undoubtedly needed." So please, I encourage any and all responses and comments.
Stay tuned for the very first 'Jo' at Minyanville.... it'll be out in 2 shakes of Daisy's tail.
