The Chirpin' Bird
Hey Hoofy--you've got some decent breadth thus far!
First to fall over when the atmosphere is less than perfect
Your sensibilities are shaken by the slightest defect
You live you life like a canary in a coalmine
You get so dizzy even walking in a straight line
The Minx springs to life and freaky Friday has officially begun! Charles Woodson stopped by (on his walk of shame) to let us know that the University of Michigan confidence number was 79.2 and, while that missed consensus, it certainly could have been worse.
The focus now turns to Franz and he's set to begin shortly. In the meantime, the internals are (gasp!) positive, the semis are up a quick deuce, the retailers and biotech trade a tad heavy, and Snappers got that look in his eye. I'm being careful not to go too far out on a limb in front of a bevy of unknowns, but I like what I see--so far.
I was actually tempted to stick that appendage back into my bull costume but by the time my fat fingers typed this post, the futes already popped. That's cool--I've got one hoof in and plenty of dry powder. If they press 'em lower (very possible), I'll have my chance. If not, opportunities are made up easier than losses.
