Happy New Year

If you are enjoying Minyanville as much as Todd, Casey and I - then you have as many "issues" as Todd, Casey and I. ;-)

Since this is the last article of the year, I wanted to pass along what carried me through the pains and gains of this past year. The greatest lesson that my friend Bill Meehan ever taught me had nothing to do with the market or anything related to it.

It happened one fateful day in September 2001. It was that day that I understood that I do work to live and don't live to work. It was the day that I remembered how important it was to hug my family each day and tell them how much I love them - even if I am mad at them. It was also on that day my relationship with my family and friends went to a whole new level as we were in the trenches and were there unconditionally for each other. My goal each and every day (forget about year) is to keep that fresh in my mind.
