Hey Tony--have a safe vacation with the family and forget the tape....it'll be here when you return!

Mr. Sandman, bring me a dream
Make her the cutest thing that I've ever seen.

(The Chordettes)

I've gotta tell ya, I've sat through many a snoozerooni in my time but this takes the cake! We've walked through technical levels, debated the current psychology, waited on the conferences for fundies (nothing), expressed random thoughts, discussed the Grateful dead, spoke about my cats, chowed chocolate and previewed Minyanville. I feel like that commercial where the guy is surfing the internet and, all of a sudden he gets to the "end." Can it be? Have I really run out of things to discuss? Say it ain't so!

I pride myself on being honest and there's really nothing left to say that you don't already know. I've got two legs in my bear costume (50% conviction on the short side) and I'm sticking by my Razor Burn thesis for the time being. I'd be lying if I told you I haven't thought of the prospect of a melt up but that's probably a good thing. If I was cocky and didn't respect the power of the Minx, I probably wouldn't be writing to you right now. If nothing else, I understand that the only true wisdom is knowing that we know truly nothing. I think Bill S. Preston and Ted "Theodore" Logan would be proud!

The more I think of it, the more inclined I am to practice what I preach and take the final week of the year off. I know some of you will call me a slacker and that's ok-I've been called worse! Seriously though, I've found that it's much easier to write about working to live than actually practicing it. I take my responsibilities very seriously and, in the process, something has to suffer...whether it's health, friendships or time for other interests. After everything we've experience in the last year or so-and I'm NOT talking market-there are no excuses. Ask yourself two simple questions: are you happy and are you healthy? If the answer to either of them is "no," take proactive steps to remedy the situation. After all, tomorrow is promised to nobody.

Have a peaceful night.
