Minnie who?

Wow, as I was reading the Gazette while sitting down for lunch, I almost fell outta my chair - Toddo, tell Daisy I never knew how she cared. I know how gals dig bald guys, but she is taken by someone that can gore me (sorry Al).

Now that I have my juices flowing, I might as well turn it back to the market to calm down. You know I have issues if the market calms me down. In more highlights of how this is so similar to last year, go back and check the news items in early December regarding Oracle (ORCL). I will give you a brief summary - relative improvement in ORCL and INTC caused the "twilight zone" because the market rallied so much before the news items and there was some level of distrust because the market had already begun to pull back. The similarities are so obvious that I think they are being discounted as a possibility.

Anyway, I continue to look for a retest of the recent highs that should lack conviction and ultimately should fail because those issues that have been hanging over the markets still do not have an identifiable resolution. Those issues of course are the sluggish economy (therefore corporate profits), historically high valuations and geo-political uncertainty. Use any retest to your advantage vs. getting overly excited about it.

As much as I will enjoy the R&R, I will miss Toddo, the critters (esp. Daisy now), and you readers because after all - family goes beyond those right next to me! Take care and see you Tuesday.
