Welcome to Minyanville.

Today is the dawn of a new day in the world of finance!

As you return to Minyanville today we welcome you to a dynamic media destination full of content and information that will help Minyans become better investors and, quite possibly, better people.

Our mission is to enhance your potential through greater financial understanding and the new Minyanville strives to deliver the most comprehensive, entertaining and educational experience.

We want to point out some of the new features of our community:

  • First you'll notice the media window on the home page. This is the first of its kind to integrate "Pixar" quality animation within a web site. This media window is presently designed to take new visitors and members through everything Minyanville has to offer.

It is the home for the Wall Street Bull and Bear and ultimately a window to dynamic information, entertainment and a schedule of shows and content delivered through the MV Network. Should you chose not to view this information, simply click on the "Hide Movie" button on the top right of the window to minimize the window.

  • Along the left side you will find navigation to an unparalleled depth of content that only Minyanville has to offer. We have categorized this content for you in a clean and simple navigation to get you where you want to go – fast.

You can always find all of the day's newest content within News and Views (formerly Gazette), but make sure to take a look at all the sections to learn more about macro (Personal Finance) Technicals, Economy, Derivatives and Fundamentals driving investment success. Don't miss the Trading Radar, the must-have playbook for the week ahead, or Point and Go Figure charting analysis on key indices, sectors and companies and the monthly Retail Roundup providing an overview of sector comps, macro trends and company specific analysis. And if there's something you don't understand, make sure to pay a visit to the Dictionary where all Minyans learn the vernacular.

  • On the right we have what are called "Portlets" Each day you will find new information in each of the Portlets, highlighting our partners, covering our University initiatives, key events, archived articles that are relevant to the week's market movements and most importantly profiles of our renowned Professors.

  • Finally, for convenience, we have added a new feature; it is a completely web based Buzz and Banter.

If you click on the Buzz and Banter tab up near the top of the left side navigation, you will now get a web based application with many of the same features as the downloaded version of the Buzz. We created this version as many companies have security settings that preclude download and installation of the application. However, for the best experience, we highly recommend downloading the Buzz and Banter desktop application.

We've put a tremendous amount of time and effort into our new home and we hope you enjoy your stay. We welcome your comments. The new Minyanville is the result of the feedback and interaction we've had over the years with our members. It's a new beginning and the starting point for what will continue to be the strongest, fastest growing financial community.

Stay tuned for new features and content and we look forward to having you in the 'Ville!
