Many of the nation's biggest banks – Citigroup (NYSE:C), Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC), Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), and others -- are waiving ATM fees and halting late fees on credit cards and loans for people throughout the northeast, where people are struggling to pick up the pieces following Hurricane Sandy.

Several sectors are poised to benefit, post-Hurricane Sandy, including those that can help people rebuild such as Home Depot (NYSE:HD). Insurers may also benefit; shares of Allstate (NYSE:ALL) could climb for a second consecutive session.
