MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDEXDJX:.DJI) is down .15%, or 19.73 points, to 13,599.20 as of 2:51 p.m. EDT. The index opened today at 13,577.85. Futures are down 20 points to 13,480. This slump is partly due to assets associated with growth sluggish, and the eurozone, as always, up to its neck in debt, and partly due to lackluster iPhone 5 sales-5 million units moved for Apple's (NYSE:APPL) new machine-over the weekend.

Despite underwhelming demand for the iPhone 5, AT&T (NYSE:T) is up .24 points, or .64%, to $38.32 per share.

Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) is strangely up .06 points, or .66%, to $9.17 per share following news that it will be cutting 16,000 jobs by the end of the year.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) is down .33, or 1.88%, to $17.26 per share after announcing that its 2013 outlook is "mixed."
