Human Genome Sciences and Gilead Sciences Among Most Active Stocks in Pre-Market Today

PowerShares QQQ was down this morning.

The three most active stocks and funds in pre-market trading on the Nasdaq were Human Genome Sciences (HGSI), Gilead Sciences (GILD), and PowerShares QQQ (QQQ) as of 9:10 a.m. Investors traded 15,547,055 shares of Human Genome Sciences, which was up $7.28, or 101.53%. The two companies already partner in producing the lupus drug Benlysta. Investors traded 5,371,584 shares of Gilead, which was up $7.80 or 16.73%, and 2,336,256 shares of PowerShares QQQ, which was down $0.31 or 0.47%. Gilead has begun a research collaboration program with Adimab to identify therapeutic antibodies.
