ES Support and Resistance for October 19

The titans moved up when compared to last week. Those added in July are up roughly 6% (combined); those added in August are up 8%; the ones added in September are up 2%; those added in October are up 1%. The companies added in October are CONN'S, Inc. (NASDAQ:CONN), Gentiva Health Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTIV), IMPAC Mortgage Holdings, Inc. (NYSEAMEX:IMH), ChipMOS Technologies (Bermuda) Ltd (NASDAQ:IMOS), Key Tronic Corporation (NASDAQ:KTCC), M/I Homes Inc. (NYSE:MHO), Patrick Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:PATK), Sunrise Senior Living, Inc. (NYSE:SRZ), Seagate Technology PLC (NASDAQ:STX), USG Corporation (NYSE:USG).

The E-mini S&P 500 Futures Contract (ES) opened lower and just above S1. It had been moving down in the pre-market. S1 held and the ES moved higher, bouncing off the pivot once before being able to break through. It then move to R1 but found that to be effective resistance. After that, it moved lower, moving through the pivot but found S1 to be effective support. After testing the pivot once again and finding that it held, the ES moved down to finish the day in the area of S1. The range was 12 points.
