Also, Groupon begins its facelift.

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The Nasdaq Composite Index (INDEXNASDAQ:.IXIC) fell 0.27% to 3,173.88 as of 2:45 p.m. EDT today after disappointing economic data from China and Europe.

Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ:SWKS) fell a disheartening 17.33% to $24.37 after adjusting its fourth-quarter outlook. Questcor Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:QCOR), on the other hand, rebounded after a poor day, jumping 13.28% to $29.85 as management reassured investors about yesterday's alarming insurance announcement.

Groupon (NASDAQ:GRPN) rose 0.94% to $5.39 as it began to reinvent itself as a transaction processor; Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), on the other hand, dipped below its recent $700 mark as it fell 0.39% to $699.00 on low volume.

Perhaps the biggest winner today, though, was NII Holdings (NASDAQ:NIHD), which rose 15.31% to $8.06 after its CEO boosted his own stake in the company by 12%.
