SPDR S&P 500 ETF and Bank of America Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), and Gafisa (NYSE:GFA) as of 9:05 a.m. EST.
Investors traded 1.02 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was down $0.28, or 0.20%.
Investors exchanged 948,460 million shares of Bank of America, which was down $0.03, or 0.30%. Bank of America and JPMorgan have stated that businesses will need a total of $7.5 billion to rebuild from Hurrican Sandy, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Investors also traded 225,570 million shares of Gafisa, which was down $0.12, or 3.16%. JPMorgan upgraded Gafisa from Underweight to Neutral.
