Progressive Corporation and Exelon Corporation Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Progressive Corporation (NYSE:PGR), Exelon Corporation (NYSE:EXC), and Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) as of 9:10 a.m. EST.

Investors exchanged 10.8 million shares of Progressive, which was unchanged.

Investors traded 7.5 million shares of Exelon, which was unchanged.

Investors also traded 7.2 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.39, or 3.36%. Bank of America and 13 of the other largest mortgage lenders in the US may reach a flat settlement of $10 billion with US regulators over allegations that homes were wrongfully seized using faulty paperwork.
