Bank of America and SPDR S&P 500 ETF Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU) as of 9:15 a.m. EST.

Investors exchanged 7.89 million shares of Bank of America, which was down $0.38, or 3.30%. According to Forbes, Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan vetoed a proposed paycuts for two-thirds of Merrill Lynch's financial advisors in 2013.

Investors traded 7.84 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was down $1.92, or 1.33%.

Investors also traded 3.13 million shares of Alcatel-Lucent, which was down $0.10, or 6.94%.
