Bank of America and SPDR S&P 500 ETF Among Most Active Stocks in NYSE Pre-Market

MINYANVILLE ORIGINAL The three most active funds and stocks in pre-market trading on the NYSE were Bank of America (NYSE:BAC), SPDR S&P 500 ETF (NYSEARCA:SPY), and iShares MSCI EAFE Index (NYSEARCA:EFA) as of 9:10 a.m. EDT.

Investors traded 7.32 million shares of Bank of America, which was up $0.20, or 2.05%. Bank of America has donated $1 million for relief efforts in areas affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Investors exchanged 4.3 million shares of SPDR S&P 500 ETF, which was up $0.86, or 0.60%. Investors also traded 2.03 million shares of iShares MSCI EAFE Index, which was unchanged.
