As leveraged assets go down in value, the leverage multiples go up. Adding to that multiple is the falling dollar and the fact that these assets are in reality debt deposits, not cash deposits, that were passed on in different forms to be leveraged over and over.

	A quick look at today's biggest up and down movers.

Owens Corning (OC) is moving higher after seeing sales rise in the first quarter. Checkpoint Systems (CKP) in the green after seeing revenue gain an impressive 22% on the quarter.

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company (CTB) shares are off considerably after net income dropped sharply in this morning’s first quarter results.
