Wal-Mart (
WMT) and
Costco (
COST) are up, while sales at workwear stalwarts such as
Talbots (
TLB) and
Men's Wearhouse (
MW) are down. Some say it's because there's a recession on, but for recent college graduates it's more like a depression. You see, jobs are scarce. Especially jobs of the entry-level variety.
