As leveraged assets go down in value, the leverage multiples go up. Adding to that multiple is the falling dollar and the fact that these assets are in reality debt deposits, not cash deposits, that were passed on in different forms to be leveraged over and over.

Despite losses in Freddie Mac (FRE), the Dow has been fighting to hold onto yesterday's gains. Toddo wonders, Is the market showing more resiliency? Is it getting stronger?

Now watch this! Todd's peering at the airlines, which aren't rallying on lower crude and a broker upgrade. Also, credit card companies Visa (V) and MasterCard (MA). Finally, gold is down 6% since Kevin Depew's Mr. T Gold Indicator gave the sell signal on July 29th and continues to look vulnerable on a chart.
